Mass Media and Communication
The social mass media play an important role in the dissemination of information. For many people, it is their primary access to information and education, informing individual, family and social behaviours. However, we acknowledge that communication extends far beyond technology.
Communication Center “Divine Word”
The Communication Centre is managed by the Divine Word Missionaries in Chile and is considered the co-coordinating entity within the Province. It main objective is to ensure that information communicated reflects the truth of the gospel and respect for cultural diversity.
The centre has its own productions:
Broadcast of “Paz y Amor”: The centre avails of the media as a means of evangelisation, broadcasting every Sunday on over forty radio stations within Chile.
